There are three classes of ANITA membership: full membership, associate membership & student membership.

Full membership of ANITA is open to all active professional scientists who are generally committed to the development of theoretical astrophysics in Australia and who support ANITA's specific goals. Associate membership is open to retired scientists who maintain an active interest in the development of theoretical astrophysics in Australia. Student membership is open to students in astronomy & related areas at honours level and above.
