ASA/ANITA Summer School in Theoretical Astrophysics

The ASA/ANITA Summer School in Theoretical Astrophysics began in 2008. The School aims to strengthen the theoretical background of Australian postgraduate students by providing lectures from experts in their fields.

The Theoretical Astrophysics School is an initiative of the ANITA chapter of the ASA. It is funded by the small excess of funds returned to the ASA from the IAU General Assembly in 2003, and the generous support of the Richard Cole Fund.

The next Summer School in Theoretical Astrophysics is expected to be held in 2012.
